E.C.O. Tours are optimized for small group experiences. Tree Climbing classes are limited to 8 participants. Larger groups will be split into multiple tours. Groups are taught to climb using a double rope technique. All tours are lead by professional, certified guides. Sign up individually or in groups!

Your experienced naturalist guide will facilitate the collection and sampling of multiple wild treats. Seasonal offerings to year-round staples, groups will taste and discuss historic uses of a variety of fungi and plants.
Mount Hermon utilizes state-of-the-art recreational tree climbing equipment and techniques. After gear-up and training, your certified guide with help you ascend 25-50 feet or more into a majestic California native tree.
Mount Hermon partners with more than 50 public and private schools, US Fish and Wildlife, Santa Cruz County Restoration Conservation District, and the American Conservation Experience in order to conserve acres of Sandhills habitat on Mount Hermon's property.
